Are you a writer or aspiring writer? Interested in an opportunity to meet other fantastic writers, while having your skills honed under the tutelage of Chimamanda Adichie? Here’s your chance!
The Farafina Trust has called for submissions from writers interested in participating in their 2016 Creative Writing Workshop. Selected applicants will spend 10 days partaking in interactive sessions with Chimamanda Adichie, Binyavanga Wainaina, Aslak Sira Myhre and others.
The workshop is sponsored by Nigerian Breweries. Participants will not have to worry about breakfast, lunch or accommodation, as these will be provided free of charge.
Think you’ve got what it takes? Send a writing sample of between 200 and 800 words to udonandu2016@gmail.com. Your email should be titled ‘Workshop Application’ and should contain your name, address, short bio and your writing sample, all in the body of the email.
Send in your application before May 20, 2016.
