Spell Genius Nigeria is organizing a spelling bee competition here in Enugu state. The aim of the contest is to raise the standard of English and Linguistics in Nigerian schools, while also providing entertainment to participants and their audiences.
This Edition of the competition is for children in Primary schools, between the ages of 9 and 12, and will involve intensive word learning, decoding, comprehension and spelling.
The winner of the competition will receive a trophy/medal, a certificate and N150,000.
The first runner up will receive a certificate, medal, N100,000 and other consolation prizes.
The second runner up will receive a certificate, medal, N50,000 and other consolation prizes.
