One challenge new naturalistas often have is where to shop for natural hair products, seeing as they are rarely available in mainstream outlets. So here’s a list of online and walk-in stores that stock natural hair products and tools.

Casabella: Casabella has walk-in stores across different cities in Nigeria. Their Enugu store is located in Polo Park Mall. They stock natural hair products from numerous brands, hair styling books, tools and other beauty products. They also sell wigs.
Essenza: The Essenza store is also located within the Polo Park Mall. They are mainly a perfume shop, but they stock an impressive range of Shea Moisture and Cantu products at competitive prices.
Gossip: Gossip is one of Enugu’s most popular beauty stores. They sell everything beauty- makeup, creams, wigs, extensions, flexi-rods, skincare and haircare products, etc. They also stock a few brands that cater to natural hair.
Others: Friendly Supermarket, Eastern Shop, Roban Stores, Shoprite, Game, etc. They stock haircare products and you may find a thing or two that would work for you.
The Market: Enugu’s major market is Ogbete. I wouldn’t advise you to go shopping for product brands there, but you can definitely find local and affordable items for your DIYs, such as shea butter, aloe vera, olive oil, mayonnaise, avocado, baking soda etc.
Konga.com: Konga is one of Nigeria’s major online stores. You can buy a vast number of items from them, including natural hair products. There are various sellers on Konga, and some of them are dedicated to women’s beauty and natural hair products.
Olori.com: Olori is an online store that deals especially in natural hair products. They have a vast array of brands and naturalista tools that you may not find elsewhere.
Sizzelle.com: Sizelle is an online beauty store that sells numerous products and tools for naturals, at competitive prices.
Naturalnigerian.com: Natural Nigerian sells hair oils, butters, seeds, clays etc. Most of the products carry the Natural Nigerian brand and are relatively affordable.
Thekinkyapothecary.com: The Kinky Apothecary is proclaimed to be the first natural hair store in Nigeria. They stock a good number of product brands, including their own Kinky Apothecary products.
Jumia.com: Jumia, like Konga also stocks a wide range of products. Although their competitor currently trumps them in the natural hair section.
Mallforafrica.com: Mallforafrica is an app that makes it easier for you to shop on foreign sites and have your orders delivered to you at an affordable rate. With the app you can buy products from Amazon, Ebay and many other online stores abroad.
